L'église de la Nativité de Notre-Dame, attestée en 1424, dépendait de Vitrey (diocèse de Langres). Située à la jonction entre la basse-cour de l'ancien château et le village au sud-est, l'église de Chauvirey est le résultat de nombreuses campagnes de travaux entre le 14ème siècle et le 18ème siècle. History
The church of the Nativity of Our Lady, attested in 1424, was dependent on Vitrey (diocese of Langres). Situated at the junction between the lower court of the old castle and the village to the south-east, the church of Chauvirey is the result of many construction campaigns between the 14th century and the 18th century. Oriented, it consists of a flat-ceilinged nave, a fore-choir under bell tower and a choir with flat chevet with rib vaults, between a chapel of two bays, also vaulted to the north, and a chapel vaulted with liernes and tiercerons to the south. At the corner of these chapels and the nave are located two other chapels with barrel vaults.
