History
Built between 1862 and 1865 on the plans of Jean-Baptiste Colard, the town hall was designed to also house the schools, the day nursery and the justice of the peace of the canton seat. Of U-shaped plan, open onto a courtyard, the building features a central avant-corps crowned with a triangular pediment. The building retains most of its original interior joinery, stone fireplaces, and a tribunal audience hall with its dais.
