En 1831, pour répondre aux voeux du village, l'architecte Jean-Baptiste Ridoux propose un projet pour la construction d'une école pour garçons et filles, d'une mairie et d'une justice de paix. La mairie est un bâtiment rectangulaire précédé d'une cour bordée d'une fontaine à vasque circulaire. A l'intérieur subsiste la salle d'audience de la justice de paix, avec cheminée en pierre, menuiseries de porte et l'estrade à balustrade.

History
In 1831, to respond to the wishes of the village, architect Jean-Baptiste Ridoux proposed a project for the construction of a school for boys and girls, a town hall and a justice of the peace. The town hall is a rectangular building preceded by a courtyard bordered by a fountain with a circular basin. Inside survives the hearing room of the justice of the peace, with stone fireplace, door joinery and a balustrade-railed platform.
