Historique
Lavoir couvert construit entre 1832 et 1834 sur les plans de l'architecte Pierre Mougenot dans le style néo-classique. En 1840, sur les plans du même architecte, une salle de mairie est édifiée sur le lavoir d'origine. On installe au même moment une statuette en fonte de Napoléon sur la fontaine, puis après 1871 une horloge accompagnée de deux automates.

History
Covered wash-house built between 1832 and 1834 on the plans of architect Pierre Mougenot in the neo-classical style. In 1840, on the plans of the same architect, a town hall room was erected over the original wash-house. At the same time a cast-iron statuette of Napoleon was installed on the fountain, then after 1871 a clock accompanied by two automata.
