Construit au 15e-16e siècle, le château est restauré et doté dune exploitation viticole moderne, sous le Second Empire. Dimportants travaux sont, également, entrepris sur le domaine. Les intérieurs du château sont décorés suivant le goût de lépoque : léclectisme. On peut déceler des éléments inspirés de styles anciens mais recomposés, cependant, dans une création originale. Le salon du premier étage et sa cheminée en pierre blanche incrustée de marbre en constituent un parfait exemple.

History
Built in the 15th-16th century, the castle was restored and equipped with a modern wine-producing estate under the Second Empire. Important works were also undertaken on the estate. The interiors of the castle are decorated according to the taste of the time: eclecticism. One can discern elements inspired by ancient styles but recomposed, however, in an original creation. The salon on the first floor and its fireplace in white stone inlaid with marble constitute a perfect example.
