Les deux immeubles occupent l'emplacement de deux maisons figurant sur le plan terrier de l'abbaye d'Ainay du 18e siècle. En 1766, Jean-Pierre Delglas, conseiller du roi et trésorier de France, y élève deux immeubles de rapport sur les plans de l'architecte Pierre Gabriel Bugniet. Ils se composent de deux logis principaux que relient des corps plus minces. Les cours sont rectangulaires. Des puits de lumière communs aux deux immeubles les complètent. History
The two buildings occupy the site of two houses appearing on the 18th-century terrier plan of the Abbey of Ainay. In 1766, Jean-Pierre Delglas, royal councillor and treasurer of France, erected two rental buildings here according to the plans of the architect Pierre Gabriel Bugniet. They are composed of two main dwellings connected by slighter sections. The courtyards are rectangular. Common light wells complement the two buildings. Carriage drives serve the large courtyards which themselves give access to four symmetrical staircases. Each of the three main storeys is divided into two apartments. The neoclassical elevation on the street, the two buildings presenting a single and same façade, is characteristic of the period.
