La tour de commande, constituée de béton et de vitres, est supportée par des murs porteurs perpendiculaires sur lesquels s'articule un jeu de pleins et de vides selon les niveaux et de changements d'axes au niveau supérieur. A l'arrière, un escalier indépendant s'enroule de part et d'autre d'un voile de béton menant, au niveau supérieur, au poste de commande où la décoration et le pupitre sont en place. Le bâtiment d'administration comporte le bureau des douaniers et le bureau du service de la navigation, et présente une couverture en forme de paraboloïde hyperbolique. L'accès se fait par une rampe menant à un sous-sol semi-enterré, abritant un vestiaire et des ateliers. Un escalier extérieur mène à l'étage. History
The control tower, composed of concrete and glass, is supported by perpendicular load-bearing walls upon which a play of solids and voids is articulated according to levels and changes of axes at the upper level. At the rear, an independent staircase winds on either side of a concrete wall leading, at the upper level, to the control post where the decoration and console are in place. The administration building comprises the customs office and the navigation service office, and features a hyperbolic paraboloid roof. Access is by a ramp leading to a semi-buried basement, housing a cloakroom and workshops. An external staircase leads to the storey above. At this level, the asymmetrical spatial composition is significant and clearly legible. On the south side is found the only curved element of the building: the sanitary block.
