Maison de vigneron aisé, à mur pignon sur rue, avec cellier au rez-de-chaussée et un étage carré, pourvue de fenêtres à meneaux à congés moulurés. Elle se distingue par : des chaînages d'angle à bossages en coussinet, un escalier en vis dans-oeuvre, une fenêtre quadripartite à meneaux avec colonnette centrale dans la pièce d'angle antérieure, des peintures murales en grisaille présentant une iconographie de paysage tout à fait exceptionnelle dans la pièce d'angle postérieure sur cour. La maison porte trois dates du 16e siècle (1552, 1560, 1590) sur différentes portes, attestant de remaniements, mais ses chaînes d'angle appartiennent par contre à une même campagne de construction. A la date 1552 sur une des portes de la cour correspond la fenêtre quadripartite à colonne intérieure. Les peintures murales sont elles probablement du 17e siècle où l'on rencontre ce genre de peintures en grisaille mais on ne connaît pas d'autre exemple des motifs de paysage représentés ici.

History
House of a well-to-do winegrower, with gable wall on the street, with cellar on the ground floor and a storied floor, furnished with mullioned windows with moulded soffits. It is distinguished by: corner chains with cushion bosses, an internal spiral staircase, a four-part mullioned window with central columnette in the front corner room, wall paintings in grisaille presenting landscape iconography quite exceptional in the rear corner room on the courtyard side. The house bears three dates of the 16th century (1552, 1560, 1590) on different doors, attesting to modifications, but its corner chains belong conversely to the same building campaign. To the date 1552 on one of the courtyard doors corresponds the four-part window with interior column. The wall paintings are probably from the 17th century when this type of grisaille painting is encountered but no other example is known of the landscape motifs represented here.
