History
Villa commissioned in 1902. Work is completed in 1903. It is a hôtel particulier constructed by Lûtcke & Backes. The damage caused by the bombing of 25 May 1944 has largely impaired the elevations of the front façade, but has not affected the character of the Jugendstil lantern which determines the centred plan. The major interest of the villa resides in the secondary woodwork and decoration of its interior parts which juxtapose a Jugendstil vestibule with a neo-Baroque salon with painted coffered ceiling decoration on a Wagnerian theme, alongside a hall with Sinicizing and Orientalizing decoration.
