Croix datée de 1693, présentant la particularité exceptionnelle en Alsace d'être sculptée sur les deux faces du même bloc de grès. La face avant représente un Christ en croix ; le revers une Vierge à l'Enfant. Le socle porte des inscriptions, une tête d'angelot et le symbole des meuniers. Son auteur serait Peter Bronner, tailleur de pierre à Rosheim entre 1630 et 1669, attribution sans doute erronée.

History
Cross dated to 1693, presenting the exceptional particularity in Alsace of being sculpted on both faces of the same block of sandstone. The front face represents a Christ on the cross; the reverse a Virgin and Child. The base bears inscriptions, a cherub head and the symbol of the millers. Its author is said to be Peter Bronner, stone-cutter at Rosheim between 1630 and 1669, an attribution probably mistaken.
