En 1441, le magistrat de Strasbourg élève un nouveau grenier à grains en utilisant les restes de l'enceinte du castrum romain. History
In 1441, the magistrate of Strasbourg erected a new grain store using the remains of the fortifications of the Roman castrum. The original granary, in yellow clay bricks, was altered several times. In the middle of the 16th century, installation of a second row of pillars. From the end of the 18th century, destruction of the north-east end (1767), of the central part (1804), of the east end (1941). Only the western part of the granary currently subsists (approximately one third of the original granary) modified and remodeled after the bombardment of 1870.
