Historique
Construite en 1601 et embellie en 1673, la demeure est achetée par le peintre André Trébuchet en 1924. L'artiste remodela l'édifice extérieurement et intérieurement, et y travailla jusqu'en 1947. History
Built in 1601 and embellished in 1673, the dwelling is bought by painter André Trébuchet in 1924. The artist remodelled the building externally and internally, and worked there until 1947. The building, flanked by a dependency, opens onto a garden in terraces bordering the Nive. Profoundly altered on the exterior, it took on the aspect of an Italian villa, both through the decoration of the openings, the stucos and coloured render of the facade, and through the portico topped with a terrace overlooking the garden staged on the slope leading to the river. Inside, the painter marked the decoration by intervening on the walls, ceilings, furnishings and joinery.
