History
The dwelling was built, in its present form, in the 17th century. Although described as a "château", the main dwelling presents the modest appearance of a rectangular house, simply distinguished by its door with moulded frame. The interior presents, however, more refined decoration. The dining room is provided with woodwork panelling of full height including a fireplace surround with fluted pilasters. The great bedroom on the first floor contains traces of mural paintings: on the fireplace, a landscape representing a castle in Louis XIII style is still visible and, on the walls, unfolds a scene evoking the vision of Saint-Hubert.
