Historique
Il s'agit d'un moulin du 12ème siècle situé dans la vallée de l'Authie, près de l'abbaye de Valloires dont il dépendait. Brûlé lors de la Guerre de Cent Ans, il fut probablement reconstruit au cours du 18ème siècle. A la fin du 19ème siècle, il est exploité pour la production de farine et des travaux considérables sont entrepris, notamment, un barrage. La maison du meunier, attenante au moulin, est en torchis chaulé et couverte de tuiles. Le moulin est exploité jusqu'en 1930, date à laquelle il est transformé en moulin à scier le bois avec trois scies. History
This is a mill of the 12th century situated in the valley of the Authie, near the abbey of Valloires of which it depended. Burned during the Hundred Years' War, it was probably rebuilt during the 18th century. At the end of the 19th century, it is operated for the production of flour and considerable works are undertaken, notably, a dam. The house of the miller, adjoining the mill, is in whitewashed timber and thatch and covered with tiles. The mill is operated until 1930, at which date it is transformed into a mill for sawing wood with three saws. A building in timber framing and thatch erected perpendicular to the mill attests to this activity which ceased in 1975. During the 1990s, the whole is restored, a museum is opened in the mill and an artisanal bakery is installed.
