Historique
Le phare, implanté en bordure de l'agglomération, est réalisé en 1848 selon les plans de l'ingénieur Léonce Reynaud et mis en service en octobre 1848. Les travaux d'électrification se déroulent en 1882-1883. Le phare se présente comme une tour octogonale accolée à un petit bâtiment rectangulaire. Son soubassement est entièrement réalisé en pierre de taille. History
The lighthouse, located on the edge of the built-up area, was constructed in 1848 according to the plans of engineer Léonce Reynaud and put into service in October 1848.
