History
The French presbytery of the church of Saint-Louis in the town of Nouméa of the Drocourt Mining Company is part of the plan for rebuilding the town following the First World War. The architects Duval and Gonse were entrusted with conducting the work: construction of the church, enlargement of the girls' school and erection of the parish annexes surrounding the church, notably the presbyteries (the other being the Polish presbytery) with Neo-Flemish gables and assigned to the two parish priests.
