A l'origine, le manoir était une ferme fortifiée entourée de douves. La ferme est reconstruite en 1698. Elle était alors une ferme basse dont le pigeonnier servait d'observatoire et faisait partie d'une ligne de défense visant à protéger Béthune. L'ensemble est construit en briques sur un soubassement de grès. Sur la gauche, la partie habitation a été reconstruite après la Première guerre mondiale. La partie droite correspond à une porcherie installée dans la seconde moitié du 20e siècle. Une tour quadrangulaire marque la jonction avec la façade sud. La tour qui lui faisait pendant à l'angle sud-est a été détruite au cours de la Première guerre mondiale.

History
Originally, the manor was a fortified farm surrounded by a moat. The farm was rebuilt in 1698. It was then a low-lying farm whose dovecot served as an observation post and was part of a line of defence intended to protect Béthune. The whole was built in brick on a base of sandstone. On the left, the residential part was rebuilt after the First World War. The right part corresponds to a pig-sty installed in the second half of the 20th century. A quadrangular tower marks the junction with the south façade. The tower that faced it at the south-east corner was destroyed during the First World War.
