Historique
Ferme appartenant à un groupe de trois fermes industrielles associant production de betteraves, distillerie et engraissement de boeufs avec transports ferroviaires intérieurs. Après l'acquisition de petites exploitations dont les bâtiments furent détruits, Ferdinand Louis Caillet fait construire cette ferme en 1863. Une distillerie est reliée par voies Decauville au silo à pulpe, à la grange et à l'étable disposés parallèlement. L'habitation est en face. Le long des autres côtés sont disposés écurie, hangars, porcherie, magasin, conciergerie, dortoir boulangerie. La finalité de cette organisation est la production déjà transformée d'alcool et de viande, innovation en Basse-Normandie. La distillerie a été raccourcie, les silos remplacés par une pièce d'eau et la grande maison d'habitation détruite en 1967.

History
Farm belonging to a group of three industrial farms combining sugar beet production, distillery and beef fattening with internal railway transport. After acquiring small holdings whose buildings were demolished, Ferdinand Louis Caillet had this farm built in 1863. A distillery is connected by Decauville tracks to the pulp silo, to the barn and to the cattle shed laid out in parallel. The dwelling is opposite. Along the other sides are arranged stable, hangars, pigsty, warehouse, lodge, dormitory bakery. The purpose of this organisation is the already-processed production of alcohol and meat, an innovation in Lower Normandy. The distillery was shortened, the silos replaced by a pond and the large main house destroyed in 1967.
