History
The present castle was preceded by a medieval castle of which remain the tower and the turret situated to the south and east of the building. From that period onward, the residence underwent three waves of transformations. The wing which unfolds to the east dates from the 17th century. A staircase in Louis XV style fitted with an ironwork balustrade was designed in the former medieval body. The castle was again modernised in the first quarter of the 19th century: enlargement to the west, two pavilions are created and an attic storey is added. Two outbuildings for use as storage and dwelling were built in the 18th and 19th centuries. Finally, the chapel dating from the 16th century is still visible.
