Historique
De la forteresse médiévale, sont conservées une partie de l'enceinte et une tour circulaire, accompagnées du fossé partiellement remblayé. Ce vestige du rempart est construit en moellons de grès pour les fondations, calcaire pour la partie supérieure et brique pour les réfections du 19e siècle. Il correspond à l'architecture militaire classique des 13e-14e siècles. Par la suite, il sert de mur de clôture au château, et sans doute de soubassement au nouvel édifice. Le château actuel comprend un corps de logis central, brique et pierre de style Renaissance (début 16e) , et deux ailes de quatre étages édifiées au 19e siècle.

History
From the medieval fortress, preserved are part of the enclosure and a circular tower, accompanied by the moat partially filled in. This rampart remnant is constructed in rubble stone of sandstone for the foundations, limestone for the upper part and brick for 19th-century repairs. It corresponds to the classical military architecture of the 13th-14th centuries. Subsequently, it serves as an enclosure wall to the castle, and probably as the base of the new building. The present castle comprises a central main dwelling, brick and stone of Renaissance style (early 16th century), and two four-storey wings built in the 19th century.
