Fondmarin doit son nom à Marin Chocq, receveur des Aides et Tailles à Crépy-en-Valois et était en construction en 1645. Ce dernier a constitué la propriété par diverses acquisitions de terrains, dont la parcelle sur laquelle se trouvait un lavoir public, datant du 17e siècle. History
Fondmarin owes its name to Marin Chocq, receiver of Aides and Tailles at Crépy-en-Valois and was under construction in 1645. The latter constituted the property through various acquisitions of land, including the plot on which stood a public wash house, dating from the 17th century. Three springs gush forth in these lands. A nymphaeum was arranged in the 18th century, or perhaps as early as the end of the 17th century.
