Monument commémoratif élevé en 1923 à la mémoire de 22 combattants du 102e R.I. et du 236e R.A.C. tombés au cours du combat du mont du Crocq le 12 septembre 1914. Le monument, érigé par le marbrier parisien Henri Edeline, repose sur un socle de forme triangulaire et se compose d'un monticule de 22 pierres de taille sur lesquelles sont inscrits les noms des victimes. Un poilu en plâtre recouvert de polychromie émerge à mi-corps du monument.

History
Commemorative monument erected in 1923 in memory of 22 soldiers of the 102nd R.I. and of the 236th R.A.C. fallen during the combat of mont du Crocq on 12 September 1914. The monument, erected by the Parisian mason Henri Edeline, rests on a base of triangular form and consists of a mound of 22 ashlar stones on which are inscribed the names of the victims. A soldier in plaster covered with polychrome emerges half-body from the monument.
