Un des deux salons conserve un ensemble de dessus de portes dus à Alexis Bafcop, peintre cassellois de renom, représentant quatre scènes de la vie quotidienne.

The château de La Tour is a witness to a seigneury in Flanders, that of Noordpeene, where took place the decisive battle (11-12 April 1677) which saw played out, in part, the fate of the United Provinces, resulting in the annexation to France of the towns of Valenciennes, Cambrai, Saint-Omer and Cassel. The residence presents a façade regularised in the 18th century, flanked by two square towers, and another more composite. The moats surrounding the château testify to the antiquity of the site. The interior decoration reflects a way of living comfortably in the countryside. One of the two salons preserves a group of overdoors by Alexis Bafcop, renowned Cassel painter, representing four scenes of daily life.
