Historique
Après la Première Guerre mondiale, un groupement de minotiers fait construire en bordure de la Deûle un établissement industriel, repris en 1928 par Les Grands Moulins de Paris, et qui cesse son activité en 1989. Il s'agit du seul témoin de cette importance d'une minoterie industrielle au nord de Paris. Le plan déroule les parties du process : silos, nettoyage des grains, meunerie, magasin aux farines. Les bâtiments sont dans leur état d'origine, à l'exception des silos à blé et à farine, rajoutés à chaque extrémité dans les années 1960. La construction est en béton avec parement de brique rouge et béton traité façon pierre blanche qui accentue la référence au style régionaliste.

History
After the First World War, a group of millers had an industrial establishment built on the banks of the Deûle, taken over in 1928 by Les Grands Moulins de Paris, and which ceased its activity in 1989. It is the only witness of this importance of an industrial mill to the north of Paris. The plan unfolds the parts of the process: silos, grain cleaning, milling, flour warehouse. The buildings are in their original state, with the exception of the wheat and flour silos, added to each end in the 1960s. The construction is in concrete with facing of red brick and concrete treated in the manner of white stone which accentuates the reference to the regional style.
