Maison forte morvandelle, bâtie au Moyen Age et remaniée au 17e siècle. Elle a été édifiée au 12e siècle par Hugues d'Alligny à son retour de la seconde croisade et restaurée entre 1645 et 1660. Au 19e siècle, une grande partie des bâtiments élevés autour d'une cour circulaire fermée a été abattue ; seul subsiste un corps de logis de plan concave. Les douves alimentées par les sources en eau vive entourent toujours l'assise d'origine.

History
Morvan strong house, built in the Middle Ages and remodelled in the 17th century. It was built in the 12th century by Hugues d'Alligny on his return from the second crusade and restored between 1645 and 1660. In the 19th century, a large part of the buildings erected around a closed circular courtyard was demolished; only a dwelling of concave plan survives. The moats fed by living water springs still surround the original foundation.
