History
Completed around 1786, the château de Saulières, constructed in the neo-classical style of the end of the 18th century and representative of the neo-Palladian spirit, was rearranged in the years 1830-1840; it has retained its interior decoration (panelling, parquet, indienne fabrics in the grand salon, panoramic papers in the billiard room, ...). It is a dwelling in the Parisian fashion in the Nivernais countryside. The estate is laid out in successive terraces from the stables to the open-air theatre.
