Seul édifice de l'ordre des Prémontrés recensé en Bourgogne. Abbaye fondée entre 1152 et 1188. L'église remonte sans doute au tout début du 13e siècle. Les bâtiments conventuels ont été reconstruits au 17e siècle et aménagés au 18e siècle ; la distribution intérieure du rez-de-chaussée et de l'étage (en particulier la bibliothèque et les cheminées) est encore celle décrite dans les inventaires de la fin du 18e siècle. La porterie date probablement de la fin du 15e siècle. Après la Révolution, l'ancienne abbaye a été transformée en exploitation agricole.

History
Only building of the Premonstratensian order recorded in Burgundy. Abbey founded between 1152 and 1188. The church dates no doubt to the very beginning of the 13th century. The conventional buildings were rebuilt in the 17th century and furnished in the 18th century; the internal distribution of the ground floor and first floor (in particular the library and fireplaces) is still that described in the inventories of the late 18th century. The porter's lodge probably dates from the late 15th century. After the Revolution, the former abbey was transformed into an agricultural holding.
