Historique

History
The first projects for the church date from 1956. The building remains traditional in its rectangular plan and its materials (yellow limestone rubble stone). Its originality lies in the elevation designed to create indirect lighting of the nave. This rests on pillars set in the crypt and appears in suspension because its floor does not touch the outer walls. The suspended ceiling echoes this platform. This structure allows the passage of natural light from the aisles of the crypt, the roof and two columns of glass blocks on either side of the choir. The liturgical furnishings were designed by the architect.
