History
Built from 1787 on the plans of the rector Pierre Noury at the location of a Romanesque building, the church of Bignan is one of the rare examples of a classical style church in Brittany. Its construction extended throughout the 19th century, owing to the circumstances of the time, lack of funds and various defects in workmanship.
