Historique
La villa, réalisée à partir de 1908, a été conçue par l'architecte Paul-Joseph Courcoux. L'édifice allie les courants néo-médiévisme, Art Nouveau et le début du régionalisme. L'architecte s'adjoignit le céramiste Alexandre Bigot, qui travailla pour Guimard, et le sculpteur sur staff Le Bourgeois. L'élévation principale nord se distingue par sa composition dissymétrique. Une place privilégiée est donnée au décor de grès flammé, à l'extérieur comme à l'intérieur. History
The villa, executed from 1908, was designed by architect Paul-Joseph Courcoux. The building combines the currents of neo-medievalism, Art Nouveau and the beginning of regionalism. The architect was assisted by ceramicist Alexandre Bigot, who worked for Guimard, and the staff sculptor Le Bourgeois. The principal north elevation is distinguished by its asymmetrical composition. Pride of place is given to the decoration of flamed sandstone, both exterior and interior. The originality of the interior layout lies in its articulation around a vast central hall with a height equivalent to two storeys, from which opens a gallery with arcades from which the bedrooms of the upper floor are distributed.
