History
Excavations revealed a small salting works composed of a rectangular building with courtyard and probably a preparation workshop, a series of four salting vats in battery, two of which are coated with hydraulic mortar. These salting works are rare in the Roman world. These were installations intended for the preparation of condiments, fish salting and the production of garum or liquamen.
