Historique

History
The passage of Bono was until 1669 the property of the abbey of St-Gildas de Rhuys. On 19 March 1669, the knight Pierre de Montigny, lord of Kerisper, bought back from the monks the house, building and land of the water passage. In the first thirty years of the 19th century, the construction of a bridge was envisaged to replace the existing ferry. Laurent, engineer of the Ponts et Chaussées, drew up plans presented on 25 August 1835 to the municipal council. The company Le Pontois oversaw the construction, completed on 23 September 1840. The overly light structure suffered serious damage in 1865, the suspended bridge was finally rebuilt in 1869 by the company Forget. The continuous cable system passes beneath the roadway in a mooring gallery.
