Le moulin à farine des Timbrieux est daté par des documents de la première moitié du 17e siècle (il existait en 1632). Il est de type tour, à pied évasé et en gros appareil de granit, posé à joint vif, isolé dans la lande bretonne. Ses ailes sont arrêtées depuis 1957 et privées de leurs anciennes traverses. A l'intérieur subsistent l'intégralité des mécanismes de meunerie, notamment les engrenages en bois et la paire de meules, installés à l'étage.

History
The flour mill of Timbrieux is dated by documents to the first half of the 17th century (it existed in 1632). It is of tower type, with splayed base and in large blocks of granite, set with tight joints, isolated in the Breton heathland. Its sails have been stopped since 1957 and deprived of their former cross-timbers. Inside remain all the milling mechanisms intact, notably the wooden gearing and the pair of millstones, installed on the upper floor.
