La synagogue est un édifice de taille modeste, en pierre de taille, avec une couverture en ardoise. A l'extérieur, le décor évoque sa spécificité « israélite » : inscription en hébreu, tables de la Loi en amortissement du pignon, remplage de la rosace ou des baies de la nef en forme d'étoiles de David, etc. Cette identité particulière est également évoquée par un vocabulaire décoratif d'inspiration hispano-mauresque (arcs outrepassés). History
The synagogue is a building of modest size, in ashlar stone, with a slate roof. Outside, the decoration evokes its 'Israelite' specificity: inscription in Hebrew, tables of the Law as roof terminals for the gable, tracery of the rose window or the naves' openings in the form of Stars of David, etc. This particular identity is also evoked by a decorative vocabulary of Hispanic-Moorish inspiration (horseshoe arches). Inside, the synagogue is divided into three spaces with, at the entrance, a vestibule then the nave opening onto a sort of 'choir'. The bulk of the decoration consists of Hebrew inscriptions whose arrangement respects a symbolic progression.
