Historique
La cartonnerie fut créée en 1914, complétant une zone industrialisée depuis 1877. Il s'agit d'une vaste halle dont les façades sont percées d'une résille de baies à claustra formant quatre travées. History
The cardboard factory was created in 1914, complementing an industrialised zone since 1877. This is a vast hall whose façades are pierced by a lattice of openings with louvres forming four bays. An armoured concrete vault roof covers the entire building. Two workshops housing one bay of production and two bays of packaging extend it. The installations were modernised under the Marshall Plan in 1946-1949. The vast reinforced concrete central heating plant is the most tangible sign of this modernisation. It produced electricity for the machines and heating for the premises and the cardboard drying chain. The factory was closed permanently in 1980.
