Une présence humaine est attestée dans le village depuis l'époque romaine. La tour a sans doute été édifiée dès le 13e siècle pour les chevaliers de Labry. History
Human presence is attested in the village from the Roman period. The tower was doubtless built from the 13th century for the knights of Labry. In the 15th or 16th century, the tower was substantially altered, even rebuilt. Originally, it had a defensive function.
