L'immeuble fut acquis par l'association cultuelle et culturelle israélite de rite polonais de Nancy dans les années 1930. Après la seconde guerre mondiale, l'édifice fut rénové et Mané-Katz réalisa trois peintures murales représentant des musiciens. History
The building was acquired by the Jewish cultural and religious association of Polish rite of Nancy in the 1930s. After the Second World War, the building was renovated and Mané-Katz created three murals representing musicians. Through their religious context and their musical theme, these works are emblematic of the work of this artist of Ukrainian origin, few of whose works are preserved in France, although he spent the greater part of his life there.
