Première église édifiée en l'honneur de la future sainte, sur les plans de l'architecte parisien Jules Criqui par l'entrepreneur de maçonnerie Henri Masson, pour la paroisse érigée en juillet 1910 sous le vocable Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc. Le ciment armé est utilisé pour la charpente et les voûtements. Le style est celui des châteaux-forts du 15e siècle. En 1911, le gros oeuvre est terminé. Couvert d'une voûte en berceau brisé à lunettes, le vaisseau est éclairé par 28 verrières des ateliers Janin et Benoît de Nancy. Conçu dès 1912, le programme s'échelonna jusqu'en 1947.

History
First church built in honour of the future saint, on the plans of the Parisian architect Jules Criqui by the masonry contractor Henri Masson, for the parish erected in July 1910 under the dedication of Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc. Reinforced concrete is used for the roof structure and vaulting. The style is that of 15th-century fortified castles. In 1911, the structural work was completed. Covered with a broken barrel vault with lunettes, the nave is lit by 28 stained-glass windows from the workshops of Janin and Benoît of Nancy. Conceived from 1912, the programme extended until 1947.
