History
The name of the property is connected with the iconographic theme of a fountain, to which Christ and the Samaritan woman are leaning, which forms its central element. By its type and its iconography, this fountain is exceptional in Lorraine. Characteristic of the first quarter of the 17th century, the buildings of U-shaped plan making up the dwelling precede to the south a terraced garden laid out in the 18th century. Two rooms on the first floor of the central section retain painted decorations of the 18th century, as well as wainscoting.
