Le fief d'Erbrée est connu depuis le début du 14ème siècle. Le logis en «L», encore cerné de douves en eau, visible sur le cadastre de 1833, est bientôt remplacé par un château à la sobre architecture néo-classique. Si la démolition de l'ancien logis était en cours en février 1835, elle avait été précédée, dès 1830, par des «constructions nouvelles et des plantations qui nécessitaient des bouleversements de terre». Le château, accompagné d'un parc paysager et de bâtiments de communs, a conservé ses distributions d'origine.

History
The fief of Erbrée has been known since the beginning of the 14th century. The main dwelling in an 'L' shape, still surrounded by water-filled moats, visible on the 1833 cadastre, was soon replaced by a château of sober Neo-Classical architecture. If the demolition of the old dwelling was underway in February 1835, it had been preceded, from 1830 onwards, by 'new constructions and plantings which necessitated earth movements'. The château, accompanied by a landscaped park and outbuildings, has retained its original layout.
