Ces deux derniers éléments font l'objet de la présente protection. C'est un rare exemple de construction monastique cistercienne créée à la fin du XIIe siècle procédant des abbayes de Cîteaux et de Clairvaux.

History
From the Cistercian abbey of Longuay, founded in 1102, little remains: the tithe barn, registered on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments in 1925 (PA00078938), the south wing of the monastic buildings, transformed into a château in the 19th century, and the neighbouring dovecote. These last two elements are the subject of the present protection. It is a rare example of Cistercian monastic construction created at the end of the 12th century deriving from the abbeys of Cîteaux and Clairvaux.
