Château édifié au milieu du 18e siècle pour Jean-Baptiste Thomassin de Bienville, propriétaire des forges. Le corps de logis est prolongé par deux ailes de communs en retour dessinant un plan en U. Des deux ailes, seule l'aile sud est la plus ancienne, représentée sur un plan de route des années 1760. L'aile nord renfermant une chapelle dédiée à Saint-Jean-Baptiste est citée en 1780, indiquant une seconde campagne de construction au 18e siècle. Le corps de logis comprend des cheminées en marbre du 19e siècle, des pièces lambrisées. Le parc est représentatif des parcs romantiques du 19e siècle. History
Castle built in the middle of the 18th century for Jean-Baptiste Thomassin de Bienville, owner of the ironworks. The main dwelling is extended by two wings of outbuildings in return forming a U-shaped plan. Of the two wings, only the south wing is the oldest, shown on a route plan of the 1760s. The north wing containing a chapel dedicated to Saint-Jean-Baptiste is cited in 1780, indicating a second building campaign in the 18th century. The main dwelling comprises marble fireplaces of the 19th century, panelled rooms. The park is representative of romantic parks of the 19th century. Designed after 1837, it includes two former dovecotes, one of which was transformed into an orangery, and outbuildings. The vegetable garden extends to the west. The gardener's house dates from 1808.
