Cette villa fut édifiée dans les années 1870-80, dans un style néo-Louis XIII, en brique et pierre. La demeure possède une citerne d'eau en béton armé réalisée par l'ingénieur Joseph Monier. Cet ouvrage est porté par six poteaux en forme de tronc d'arbre et est entouré d'une galerie reliée à la maison des communs et surmonté d'une couverture à six pans. Sous le réservoir jaillissait un jet d'eau d'une rocaille dans un petit bassin.

History
This villa was built in the years 1870-80, in a neo-Louis XIII style, in brick and stone. The residence possesses a reinforced concrete water cistern realised by engineer Joseph Monier. This structure is supported by six posts in the form of tree trunks and is surrounded by a gallery connected to the servants' house and surmounted by a six-sided roof. Below the reservoir spurted a water jet from rockwork into a small basin.
