Pour la reconstruction de la chapelle du monastère, détruite le 11 juin 1944, la communauté du Bon Sauveur fait appel à l'architecte René Levavasseur, associé à Lebreton. Le plan de la chapelle affecte celui d'un ostensoir dont les six branches convergent vers le sanctuaire placé au centre. Clôturé par la grille de communion, il est surmonté d'une tour lanterne au motif en béton ajouré. Cette esthétique minimaliste est rattrapée par l'imposante tour clocher en avancée de la galerie ouest du cloître. Par une entrée très lumineuse, l'escalier d'honneur permet d'accéder au choeur des religieuses. Les dessins des fers forgés des portes et de la rampe d'escalier sont dus à l'atelier parisien du décorateur Raymond Subes.

History
For the reconstruction of the monastery chapel, destroyed on 11 June 1944, the community of Bon Sauveur called upon the architect René Levavasseur, associated with Lebreton. The plan of the chapel takes that of an ostensory whose six branches converge towards the sanctuary placed at the centre. Enclosed by the communion grille, it is surmounted by a lantern tower with openwork concrete motif. This minimalist aesthetic is offset by the imposing bell tower in advance of the west gallery of the cloister. By a very luminous entrance, the grand staircase allows access to the nuns' choir. The designs of the wrought ironwork of the doors and of the stair ramp are due to the Parisian workshop of the decorator Raymond Subes.
