History
Jérôme-Frédéric Bignon, a legitimist during the Restoration, had the entire set of towers and the dovecote covered with crenellations and merlons, and a belvedere. He also provided the château with service buildings. The modifications preserved the old defensive system of the towers as well as the old main dwelling with its gun embrasure.
