History
Fortified ensemble situated on the route linking Gennes to Doué-la-Fontaine. In the 16th and 17th centuries, renewal of the landscape and architectural organization by the de Maillé family. The interest of the ensemble is due in particular to some ancillary buildings such as the medieval seigneurial chapel, the "galleries" of the 16th century with their painted decoration, and the vast stables of the 17th century.
