Le château se présente comme une maison-forte en brique, remontant sans doute au 15e siècle, puis agrandi aux 16e et 17e siècles, époque où des croisées donnant sur le Lot ont été ouvertes dans les murs. History
The castle presents itself as a fortified house in brick, dating probably from the 15th century, then enlarged in the 16th and 17th centuries, the period when mullioned windows overlooking the Lot were opened in the walls. At the beginning of the 19th century, a certain Joseph de Bourran, whose monogram is inscribed on the garden gate, transformed the castle. He had the east terrace closed by a wing of dependencies to the south, built a bridge over the moat, fitted out the north-east defensive tower and had new windows pierced. A set of dependencies was added in the second half of the 19th century at the rear.
