Ancienne manufacture de tabac du début du 18e siècle ayant conservé l'ensemble de ses bâtiments : pavillon d'administration avec ses bureaux, bâtiments d'exploitation, entrepôts et greniers à tabac, écurie, chai. La première manufacture de tabac remonte à 1674 et avait comme circonscription la Basse Guyenne, la Gascogne et le Béarn. A la Révolution, Tonneins-Dessus et Tonneins-Dessous fusionnèrent, le commerce et la culture du tabac redevinrent libres, ce qui entraîna la création de cinq nouvelles manufactures. A la suppression du monopole, des cinq manufactures seule celle tenue par les Laperche conserva la qualité du tabac de l'ancien régime.

History
Former tobacco manufactory from the early 18th century having preserved the entirety of its buildings: administration pavilion with its offices, exploitation buildings, warehouses and tobacco granaries, stable, wine store. The first tobacco manufactory dates back to 1674 and had as its jurisdiction Lower Aquitaine, Gascony and Béarn. At the Revolution, Tonneins-Dessus and Tonneins-Dessous merged, the trade and cultivation of tobacco became free again, which led to the creation of five new manufactories. Upon suppression of the monopoly, of the five manufactories only that held by the Laperche preserved the quality of tobacco of the old regime.
