Sous l'ancien régime, Boudy était une cure de l'archiprêtré de Villeréal. Elle fut supprimée en 1792, puis transformée en annexe de Saint-Sulpice de Caillac en 1805. Eglise à abside romane semi-circulaire voûtée en cul de four. Reste de l'édifice remanié à la période moderne, à l'issue des guerres de Religion. Elle a perdu son clocher en triangle, encore signalé en 1682. Originalité du décor naïf du 19e siècle dans le choeur (1835) et les deux autels latéraux. Sur le cul de four, sont représentés Dieu sous l'apparence d'un personnage barbu et la colombe du Saint-Esprit. Sur le mur de l'abside est peinte une colonnade en porphyre supportant un entablement avec des draperies.

History
Under the ancien régime, Boudy was a rectory of the archpriesthood of Villeréal. It was suppressed in 1792, then transformed into an annex of Saint-Sulpice de Caillac in 1805. Church with a semi-circular Romanesque apse vaulted with a cul-de-four. Remainder of the edifice altered in the modern period, following the Wars of Religion. It lost its triangular bell tower, still recorded in 1682. Originality of the naive decoration of the 19th century in the choir (1835) and the two side altars. On the cul-de-four are represented God in the appearance of a bearded personage and the dove of the Holy Spirit. On the wall of the apse is painted a colonnade in porphyry supporting an entablature with draperies.
