History
The current château, on a terraced site, consists of a disparate group of buildings arranged around a courtyard: a quadrangular dwelling built in the mid-19th century, a right-angled building of the 18th century on the north side, incorporating a medieval square tower, and finally the original dwelling (15th century?), adjoined by a spiral staircase tower, which was flanked by round towers on the outside. This dwelling preserves ceilings with moulded beams, a monumental sculptured fireplace and important remains of 15th-century painted decoration.
